Adam Huntsman Book
A second, revised, and expanded edition of a
biography about Tennessee state senator and U.S. congressman Adam
Huntsman (1786-1849), a political rival of David Crockett and
political kingpin for the Democratic Party in West Tennessee
during the Jacksonian Era.
Estimated date of completion: Fall

Kitty League Statistical Player Index 1903-1924
This project will be funded through a grant from the Society
for American Baseball Research (SABR) and the Anthony A. Yoseloff
Foundation. (Click

The 1922 season (batting, pitching, and fielding statistics and
revised standings) has been completed. The next one I will work on
will be the 1923 season. While there were minimal batting and
pitching statistics released, records do not include players who
played in less than 10 games or one who were released before the
end of the season. Fielding statistics were also not compiled.
Estimated time of completion for the 1923 season: Summer
2008.
The Kitty League - Class D Minor League Baseball, 1903-1955
Ever since the completion of his book
Jackson Diamonds, Kevin has planned to write a scholarly
narrative history of the Kentucky-Illinois-Tennessee (KITTY)
League. He has researched it for 10 years and continues searching
for former players, managers, batboys, and fans interested in
sharing their memories of the league. Click

It will likely be a two or three-volume endeavor that will
cover the 1903-1924 and 1935-1955 seasons. But first it is
necessary for Kevin to compile statistics for those seasons that
were either incomplete or never published. It's hard to tell the
story of a baseball season and not know who were the leading
hitters and pitchers! Through a SABR-Yoseloff grant, he will be
able to accomplish this goal; not only will it help him write the
narrative history but allow him to share previously unavailable
statistics with other minor league researchers.

Liberty Church Book
Several people have asked that one of Kevin's earlier
books, The History of
Liberty Church and School, be made available once again. He
would like to publish a revised and expanded edition with updated
cemetery entries and memories of attending church, school, of
Decorations there.
